Delivery Boy

A BigBasket Delivery Partner is responsible for the timely and safe delivery of groceries and household items from local hubs to customers' doorsteps. The role involves navigating routes, handling Cash on Delivery (COD), and ensuring a high standard of customer service in the local vicinity. [1]

Core Responsibilities

• Order Pickup: Collect assigned grocery and household packages from the designated BigBasket warehouse or local hub.
• Safe Delivery: Transport and deliver orders safely and on time to customers using a two-wheeler.
• Navigation: Use a smartphone and map-based applications to find the most efficient and fastest delivery routes.
• Payment Collection: Handle transactions, process Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, and deposit collections as required.
• Customer Service: Verify order accuracy and provide helpful, professional, and friendly service to customers at the door. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]

Role Requirements

• Age & Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old; candidates who have passed 10th-12th standard are typically preferred.
• Vehicle: Mandatory ownership of a two-wheeler (bike or scooty) along with a valid Driving License (DL) and Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC).
• Tech Skills: Basic operational knowledge of an Android smartphone to use company and navigation apps.
• Documentation: Valid identity and address proofs such as an Aadhaar Card and PAN Card. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Compensation & Benefits

• Earnings: Potential to earn up to ₹35,000 to ₹40,000 per month, depending on the shift type, working hours, and completed deliveries.
