English Teacher

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.

Teach grammar, literature, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension effectively.

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, and teaching-learning materials (TLMs).

Assess students through classwork, assignments, projects, and examinations.

Maintain students' academic records and provide regular feedback to parents.

Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills.

Integrate digital tools and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.

Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Participate in school assemblies, meetings, workshops, and co-curricular activities.

Support students in improving language proficiency and preparing for board examinations.

Specific Requirements

Master's or Bachelor's degree in English with a B.Ed. (mandatory).

Minimum 2–3 years of CBSE teaching experience (preferred).

Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and smart classroom technology.

Ability to prepare lesson plans, assessments, and student progress reports.

Passion for teaching and mentoring adolescents.

Willingness to participate in school events, training programs, and professional development activities.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skils
