Fabrication Fitter

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fabrication, fit-up, assembly, and welding of pressure vessels, tanks, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols.
• Perform plate cutting, rolling, alignment, fit-up, tack welding, and final assembly.
• Execute welding using ARC, MIG/MAG, TIG, or other relevant welding processes.
• Follow WPS, PQR, welding procedures, and quality standards.
• Check dimensions, alignment, weld quality, and fabrication accuracy.
• Work with materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel.
• Maintain safety standards and follow proper PPE and workplace procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors, QC inspectors, and production teams.
• Ensure timely completion of fabrication and welding activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in pressure vessel, tank, boiler, or heavy fabrication manufacturing.
• Knowledge of pressure vessel fabrication and welding procedures.
• Ability to read and understand engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of welding defects, visual inspection, and basic quality requirements.
• Experience with carbon steel and stainless-steel fabrication is preferred.
• ITI/Diploma in Fitter or Welder trade will be an added advantage.
