The Role

Help build products that exist in the real world.

From CNC machining units and fabrication shops to welding workshops and manufacturing facilities, you'll be out in the field identifying capable vendors, building strong relationships, and ensuring projects move from ideas to finished products.

If you enjoy meeting people, exploring how things are made, and solving practical challenges, this role puts you at the center of the action.

What You'll Do

Extensive Field Work (Primary Role)

• Visit CNC machining units, fabrication shops, welding workshops, sheet metal manufacturers, surface coating vendors, assembly units, and other manufacturing facilities across Hyderabad.
• Meet vendors in person, understand their capabilities, and build working relationships.

Find & Develop New Jobwork Vendors

• Identify, connect, and develop new vendors for jobwork in CNC machining, fabrication, welding, tooling, jigs & fixtures, sheet metal, powder coating, assembly, and related manufacturing processes.

Visit & Evaluate Vendors

• Evaluate vendor capabilities, infrastructure, machinery, quality standards, and production capacity.
• Assess manufacturing facilities and determine suitability for project requirements.

Coordinate & Follow Up

• Follow up on quotations, samples, deliveries, production status, timelines, and invoices.
• Ensure projects move smoothly from enquiry to completion.

Build Strong Relationships

• Develop long-term relationships with vendors and maintain regular communication.
• Become the go-to point of contact between Humanising Design and manufacturing partners.

Internal Coordination

• Work closely with the design and engineering teams to align vendor capabilities with project requirements.

Records & Communication

• Maintain organized vendor databases, visit reports, quotations, rate comparisons, and communication records.

You're a Good Fit If You

• Are comfortable with extensive daily field work
• Enjoy talking to people and building relationships
• Can handle unstructured environments confidently
• Are persistent and don't give up after one failed call
• Are organised and responsible with follow-ups
• Have a bike and are comfortable with local travel
• Prefer field work over sitting behind a desk all day
• Have basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, fabrication, welding, sheet metal, assembly, etc. (preferred but not mandatory)

Compensation Structure

• Fixed Salary: ₹15,000/month
• Petrol Allowance: ₹3,000/month
• Monthly Performance Bonus: Up to ₹5,000/month

Vendor Closure Incentive

Additional incentive for every successfully onboarded and usable vendor.

• ₹500 → Basic usable vendor
• ₹1,000 → Strong and reliable vendor
• ₹1,500 → High-value long-term vendor with strong execution potential

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: 12th Pass
• Valid driving license
• Bike or regular access to a vehicle
• Comfortable travelling across Hyderabad
