From April 2022 to March 2023, we reached over 13.8 lakh children across 15 states, helping them access resources and opportunities to build a brighter future.

Role Summary

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fundraiser. As a Fundraiser, you will be responsible for engaging with potential donors face-to-face in various locations across India. Your primary tasks will include explaining the organization's mission and values, building rapport with potential donors, answering questions, and securing financial contributions. You will play a vital role in helping us raise funds to support important causes and make a positive difference in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Donor Engagement: Approach potential donors face-to-face on street, private sites or events and share the NGO’s mission and impact.
• Storytelling: Communicate the organization’s vision and success stories effectively to encourage financial support.
• Target Achievement: Meet daily, weekly, and monthly fundraising goals while maintaining donor retention.
• Brand Representation: Act as an ambassador for the NGO, ensuring a professional and positive image at all times.
• Donor Data Management: Collect accurate donor details and ensure all documentation is completed as per guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and report daily activities and achievements to the team leader/manager.

Qualifications-

• Education: Minimum high school diploma; graduates preferred.
• Experience: Strong sales and persuasion skills. Prior fundraising experience is a plus.
• Communication: Good/Excellent communication and interpersonal skills [languages relevant to your region].
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport quickly and inspire trust.
• Goal-Oriented: Strong focus on achieving targets and meeting deadlines.
• Passion for Social Causes: Enthusiasm for working with an NGO and supporting its mission. Knowledge of NGOs and social impact organizations is beneficial.
