Job Title: Head Chef – R&D, Standardization & Central Kitchen Operations

Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced R&D and Production Chef to lead our central kitchen focused on base gravies, sauces, and pastes.

• Enhancing existing recipes
• Developing scalable recipes
• Supervising bulk production
• Ensuring consistency in taste and quality

You will manage and guide a team of 4+ chefs.

• Key ResponsibilitiesRecipe R&D: Improve and standardize gravies (taste, texture, cost); develop new multi-cuisine base recipes
• Production Supervision: Handle large batch cooking (10–500 kg) with consistent output
• Quality Control: Daily tasting, batch approval, and consistency checks
• Team Management: Train and supervise chefs; enforce SOPs and hygiene
• Cost Optimization: Improve yield, reduce waste, control cost per kg
• SOP Creation: Develop standard recipes, batch processes, and quality checklists
• Process Improvement: Build scalable systems and optimize kitchen operations
• Requirements8–15 years experience in central kitchens / cloud kitchens / catering / RTE food production
• Strong expertise in Indian base gravies (North Indian mandatory)
• Experience in team handling and bulk cooking
• Must-Have SkillsRecipe standardization (gram-based, repeatable)
• Bulk cooking expertise
• Strong taste correction ability
• Leadership and process-driven approach

Compensation₹30,000 – ₹50,000/month (flexible for the right candidate)
