Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Operations ManagementSupervise housekeeping staff deployed during the night shift.
  • Ensure proper cleaning of workstations, cabins, meeting rooms, reception, cafeteria, washrooms, server room surroundings, and common areas.
  • Monitor deep cleaning activities scheduled during non-working hours.
  • Ensure all cleaning schedules and checklists are completed on time.
  • Conduct floor inspections and maintain quality standards as per client requirements.
  • Coordinate with day shift supervisors for smooth handover and pending tasks.
  • Manpower ManagementAllocate duties and deployment of housekeeping staff as per area requirements.
  • Ensure staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and discipline.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for housekeeping associates regarding SOPs, machinery handling, and chemical usage.
  • Ensure availability of relievers in case of absenteeism.
  • Maintain updated records of staff documents, ID cards, police verification, and training records.
  • Material & Equipment ControlMonitor usage of housekeeping consumables and cleaning chemicals.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of machinery and equipment.
  • Report breakdown of machines or shortages of materials to management.
  • Maintain stock registers and shift-wise material consumption records.
  • Client CoordinationAttend client complaints and close issues within defined timelines.
  • Coordinate with client representatives and facility teams during the shift.
  • Ensure VIP areas and critical areas are maintained as per expected standards.
  • Provide timely updates/escalations regarding operational issues.
  • Compliance & SafetyEnsure adherence to safety practices while handling chemicals and machines.
  • Follow company policies, EHS guidelines, and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure housekeeping staff use PPE and maintain safe work practices.
  • Reporting & DocumentationPrepare daily shift reports and incident reports.
  • Maintain attendance, checklist records, inspection reports, and inventory logs.
  • Submit escalation reports for any operational or manpower-related concerns.
