Job Description & Summary: We are looking for a WordPress Developer with 3–5 years of experience to develop, enhance, and maintain a WordPress-based website hosted on Azure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in WordPress CMS, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with the ability to build new features, implement content and design updates, and ensure smooth website performance and maintenance. 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress CMS. 

  • Design and implement new features and enhancements . 

  • Build and modify templates, themes, and page components as per business requirements. 

  • Perform content updates and modifications within the WordPress CMS. 

  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. 

  • Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. 

  • Troubleshoot and fix website issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. 

  • Support deployment, hosting, and maintenance activities on Azure. 

  • Work closely with business and content teams to understand requirements and implement changes. 

  • SEO optimization in the website. 

Required Skills 

  • 3–5 years of experience in WordPress development. 

  • Strong proficiency in: 

  • WordPress CMS 

  • PHP 

  • HTML5 

  • CSS3 

  • JavaScript 

  • Experience in developing and customizing WordPress themes, templates, and plugins. 

  • Good understanding of website structure, SEO optimization, content management, and UI implementation. 

  • Knowledge of debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. 

  • Familiarity with deployment and maintenance processes. 

 

Mandatory skill sets: 

 

  • Understanding of website security and backup practices. 

  • Ability to manage both development and maintenance tasks efficiently. 

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
