Process Overview
The Global Information Security (GIS) is responsible for protecting Bank information systems, confidential and proprietary data, and customer information. The team develops the Bank’s Information Security strategy and policy, manages the Information Security program, and identifies and addresses vulnerabilities, Develops, deploys and manages a risk-based controls portfolio, Manages and operates global security operations center that monitor, detects and responds to cybersecurity incidents.
GIS Identity & Access management (IAM) Access Control Team goal is to ensure that the control processes and effectiveness are within the identified risk tolerance. Manage the performance and effectiveness of the working control through the establishment of metrics with thresholds. Validate the reasonability of Laws, Rules and Regulations mapping alignment to the controls, as aligned by the GIS Policy team.
The primary team functions include provisioning and de-provisioning based on fully approved Access Request Management (ARM) tickets, support and escalation functions based on IT Service Management (ITSM) tickets for enterprise platforms (Mainframe/Midrange platform and Windows platform).
Job Description
GAO Analyst shall be responsible for working on administering user ID platform access and protecting information residing on Bank’s domain and platforms. He/ She will facilitate requests with Lines of Business in the Bank to ensure the access requests are performed to meet process SLO
Provides consulting expertise to line managers on productivity issues, analyzes operational impact in the business brought by the project parameters
Responsibilities
- Implement and support end-to-end identity provisioning and de-provisioning (Joiner, Mover, Leaver) workflows.
- Configure and maintain identity provisioning platforms and their integrations with enterprise systems.
- Manage identity lifecycle processes across Active Directory and cloud identity platforms.
- Design, build, and maintain automated identity workflows using PowerShell and/or Python.
- Integrate IAM platforms with target systems using REST APIs and workflow connectors.
- Support expansion of provisioning capabilities into cloud environments.
- Leverage automation and AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot) to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
- Collaborate with IAM, security, and platform teams to align provisioning implementations with enterprise standards.
- Troubleshoot identity provisioning issues and drive root-cause resolution.
Requirements
Education: BE/BTECH/MCA/MSC (IT) equivalent (Any Technical Degree)
Certifications If Any: ITIL, MCP, Security+, CISA/CISM
Experience Range: 4-6 yrs
Foundational skills
- Hands-on experience with identity provisioning and de-provisioning workflows.
- Experience with Identity Management / Identity Governance platforms (IDM / IGA) such as Ping Identity, SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, ForgeRock, or similar.
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory user and group lifecycle management.
- Experience working in hybrid identity environments (on-premises and cloud).
- Exposure to at least one cloud identity platform such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), AWS IAM, or GCP IAM.
- Strong automation and scripting skills using PowerShell (mandatory) and/or Python.
- Experience integrating platforms using REST APIs and automated workflows.
Desired skills
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, or workflow orchestration tools.
- Understanding of identity governance concepts such as roles, entitlements, and access models.
- Experience supporting identity provisioning at enterprise scale.
Work Timings: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM & 11:30AM – 8:30 PM (Rotational Shifts )
