About the role

The IT&D Sr. Manager - E-commerce will serve as a strategic partner across Commercial, Sales, Marketing, IT&D, and Digital Commerce teams to accelerate ecommerce growth through data, analytics, and technology enablement. This role is responsible for leading omnichannel analytics initiatives, driving adoption of ecommerce technologies, and transforming complex digital commerce data into actionable business insights that improve performance across retailers, marketplaces, and direct-to-consumer channels. This role will proactively identify value-based and strategically driven opportunities and risks to enable our ultimate objective of delivering insights which create value and drive the business forward - whilst ensuring synergy, cost effectiveness and appropriate levels of data governance and adoption.
The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with analytical expertise to deliver scalable ecommerce technology solutions that support growth, digital shelf optimization, retail media effectiveness, customer engagement, and commercial decision-making.

Your responsibilities

Strategy, Insights & Business Impact
•    Drive Omnichannel Growth: Define and execute the analytics strategy across major digital commerce channels (Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.), translating shopper, media, and digital shelf data into actionable growth opportunities.
•    Enable Data-Driven Decisions: Partner with cross-functional leaders (Sales, Marketing, RGM, Media) to build robust KPI frameworks, measurement standards, and automated reporting solutions.
•    Champion Commerce Modernization: Lead the organization's digital transformation by integrating retail media, sales, and digital shelf data into a unified, AI-enabled analytics ecosystem that elevates organizational data literacy.
Agile Technology Delivery
•    Own the Technology Roadmap: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of scalable ecommerce technologies, from translating complex business requirements into technical user stories to managing sprint backlogs.
•    Deliver Value at Scale: Collaborate with global IT&D, engineering, and capability teams to deploy high-quality e-commerce capabilities on time and within budget.
•    Maximize Adoption & ROI: Drive the continuous improvement and active adoption of e-commerce platforms across markets through feedback loops, training, and change management initiatives.
Data Governance & Stakeholder Collaboration
•    Ensure Data Excellence: Establish and enforce strict data quality, compliance, and governance standards in alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
•    Build Scalable Data Foundations: Partner with data engineering to optimize data flows, streamline integration processes, and establish standardized data models.
•    Collaborate in a Matrix Environment: Act as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between technical teams and local/regional business stakeholders to align priorities and clear project roadblocks.
•    Manage Stakeholder Alignment: Influence and unite diverse, multi-market stakeholders, communicating complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The experience we're looking for

Experience managing analytics products, business requirements, and cross-functional project delivery in agile environments.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets into meaningful business insights.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
•    Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Databricks, Azure, Google Analytics, or similar platforms is preferred.
•    Proven experience with business/digital and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification and methodology development 
•    Understanding of Data Engineering and BI technologies to work effectively and cooperatively with the product development teams
•    Strong track record of contributing to projects and achieving results
•    Experience in managing indirect report/s and working in a team oriented, collaborative environment 

Critical experience for role (approx. 3):   

•    10-12+ years of experience in ecommerce analytics, digital commerce, business analytics, sales analytics, or related commercial analytics roles.
•    Strong understanding of ecommerce business models, omnichannel commerce, retail media, and digital shelf analytics.
•    Experience working with ecommerce and syndicated data sources such as Amazon Vendor/Seller Central, Walmart Luminate, retailer POS data, NielsenIQ, Circana/IRI, Profitero, Pacvue, or similar platforms.
Preferred experience for role:    •    FMCG / Consumer Goods experience preferred
