Job Description
A Jewellery Sales Executive is responsible for driving store revenue by guiding customers through high-value purchases, providing expert knowledge on gemstones, metals, and hallmarking, and ensuring a luxurious buying experience. They manage client relationships, maintain secure displays, and process transactions. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
The core roles and responsibilities of this position generally include:
1. Customer Service & Sales
- Consultative Selling: Welcome customers, assess their needs, and assist them in selecting, matching, and trying on jewellery.
- Product Expertise: Educate clients on the quality of craftsmanship, materials, diamond cuts, gold purity, and hallmarking.
- Target Achievement: Actively promote current collections, limited editions, and promotional offers to meet or exceed individual and store sales quotas.
- After-Sales Support: Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and coordinate sizing, repairs, or polishing requests
Store & Display Operations
- Visual Merchandising: Arrange and maintain attractive, clean, and secure jewellery displays on the sales floor.
- Inventory Management: Conduct daily counts of opening and closing stock, securely handle high-value items, and report any discrepancies.
- Transactions: Accurately process sales, gift-wrapping, and billing using Point of Sale (POS) systems, including cash, card, and installment payments. [1, 2, 3]
3. Client Relationship & Business Development
- Clienteling: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, maintaining a database to reach out regarding new arrivals or festive offers.
- B2B or Field Sales: For wholesale or B2B roles, visit retailers, generate leads, and promote collections at exhibitions or promotional events. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Client Relationship & Business Development

Essential Requirements
- Professional Grooming: Maintaining a highly polished and professional appearance appropriate for a luxury retail environment.
- Communication: Fluency in local languages (e.g., Telugu, Hindi) along with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Trustworthiness: A high level of integrity and attention to detail when handling high-value assets and sensitive client data
