Job Description: Kitchen Staff

Position Title

Kitchen Staff / Kitchen Assistant


  • Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in basic food preparation such as cutting vegetables, washing ingredients, and preparing simple dishes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
  • Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools properly.
  • Store food items safely according to hygiene standards.
  • Help chefs and cooks during busy hours.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste responsibly.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation rules.
  • Refill kitchen supplies and report shortages when necessary.
  • Support receiving and organizing food deliveries.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food hygiene.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long hours.
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully.
  • Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
