Required Skills

• B.Tech or equivalent degree in Mechanical engineering with 4-7 Yrs of experience.
• Conducts flammability tests for Aircraft seat/cabin components
• Administers Flammability, Oil & Vertical Burn Testing, Special Conditions, Heat Release, Smoke Density and Toxicity certification requirements of 14CFR25.853(a), (c) & (d)
• Creates and compiles FAA certification documentation for submittal to OEMs, Airline customers and Regulatory agencies
• Material selection and material specifications correlation
• Authors, checks and directs preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects
• Ensures successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints
