Job Description
Role: Sr. SailPoint Engineer/SME
Location: PAN India
Job Summary -
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Engineer to manage and support identity and access management solutions, particularly SailPoint. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, monitoring, and ensuring the availability of IAM systems while providing technical support and automation expertise.
Years of experience needed - 8+ Years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills:
- SailPoint IdentityIQ / IdentityNow - installation, configuration, customization, workflow development.
- IAM Integration - experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD, Okta, CyberArk, etc.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with the following SailPoint IdentityIQ components: Lifecycle Manager, Compliance Manager, Application On-Boarding, Access Request, Automated Provisioning, Password Management, Workflows
- Work on process definitions related to IGA
- Scripting & Automation - Proficiency in Java, Beanshell, Python, PowerShell for custom IAM workflows.
- Database Management - SQL queries, data analysis, and performance optimization in IAM systems.
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) & Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) - defining access rules.
- Troubleshooting & Monitoring - hands-on experience with Splunk, ELK Stack, ServiceNow for log analysis.
- Assist with IAM solution architecture design for enterprise environments.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on IAM best practices and system administration.
- Stay updated on new IAM trends, security threats, and technology advancements.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and IAM system upgrades.
- Security & Compliance - knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, SOX compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge on REST API Development - integrating IAM solutions with cloud and enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain SailPoint Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Manage integrations between SailPoint and various enterprise applications (Active Directory, LDAP, HR systems, cloud platforms).
- Analyze and optimize identity provisioning, deprovisioning, and access certification processes
- Ensure system availability, performance, and security compliance.
- Monitor IAM systems and proactively address performance issues.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
- Automate password management and access control processes using SailPoint IdentityIQ Lifecycle Manager.
- Work closely with security and IT teams to integrate IAM solutions with enterprise infrastructure.
- Implement best practices for identity governance and lifecycle management.
- Perform regular audits and reporting to ensure compliance with security policies.

Certification:
- SailPoint certification or relevant IAM certifications.
- Hands-on experience with system integrations and API management.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or NIST.
