Job Description

Manager-GDC

 Roles & responsibilities 
Responsible for managing, coordinating, and facilitating country testing of the KPMG Clara suite of products with member firms.  This includes working with portfolios to understand plan testing scope, managing required deliverables, organizing and hosting kick off and follow-up meetings, monitoring testing progress, coordinating issue intake and escalation, and reporting outcomes to Product Management and Engineering teams.
Work with business and QA teams to define, align, and govern test strategies, plans, and frameworks that support product development goals, while ensuring execution is carried out by the appropriate testing teams.
Oversight of the Global Business Testing Team activities that support testing efforts for the globally-developed products including demand prioritization, utilization tracking against agreed SOWs, cross‑portfolio coordination, and proactive escalation of risks and dependencies .
Research, assess, and test various AI tools and how they can be used by the Product Management teams.  Document best practices from this work to help teams quickly understand how to utilize the AI tools.
Assess various business testing related process and assess areas for improvement.  Document both new and existing processes as needed.
Draft test artifacts and prepare for signoff. Organize and publish test scripts and sample engagements publishment.
Implement standardized business testing processes and documentation standards across applications to promote consistency and efficiency. This includes comprehensive test planning, execution, defect tracking, reporting, and retention.

Lead and manage a team of testing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback, while fostering a culture of quality and accountability 
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of testing activities within the product development lifecycle.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing activities, ensuring timely resolution of any issues that arise.
Drive the adoption and implementation of automated testing tools and frameworks to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of testing activities and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Mandatory  technical & functional skills
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the audit, and firm, business model and strategic priorities.
Strong audit background and a clear appetite to learn and engage in technical, automation, and AI‑driven testing.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with IT infrastructure, the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and audit processes
Strong understanding of business testing concepts, with the ability to partner effectively with automation and engineering teams on automated and data‑driven testing initiatives
Experience in managing and working with globally distributed teams and outsourced vendors; possess a valid passport and be able to travel globally when needed 
MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio Expertise
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and influence multiple stakeholder groups across business, product, engineering, and testing teams

   

 

This role is for you if you have  the below
Educational qualifications 
CPA /CA with post qualification experience  OR
MBA with very strong auditing experience
Work experience
5-6 years post qualification experience for CA/ 8-10 years for Non-CA
Working experience or familiarity with KPMG Clara for audit engagements
Experience with testing /SDLC is an added advantage.
