Job Description Summary

The Manager for Medical Analytics is an experienced leader responsible for driving large-scale analytics projects, mentoring teams, and innovating analytics methodologies that guide critical business decisions across Medical functions. This role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring impactful analytics solutions while advancing the use of digital analytics to optimize medical strategies.


Job Description

Location – Hyderabad #LI Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design and execution of advanced medical analytics to identify clinical care gaps using patient-level claims, EHR, and EMR data.
  • Develop scalable analytics frameworks for patient cohort identification, disease progression, therapy adherence, and referral pathway analysis.
  • Deliver actionable insights through advanced analytics, including APLD, SQL, Snowflake, Dataiku/Alteryx, and data storytelling.
  • Provide strategic oversight and delivery leadership for complex, multi-domain analytics initiatives ensuring quality, timeliness, and impact.
  • Drive innovation through predictive and prescriptive analytics leveraging statistical modeling, machine learning, and visualization techniques.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to embed analytics into medical strategy and decision-making.
  • Champion integration of digital analytics, including measurement of digital engagement, virtual interactions, and real-time KPI dashboards.
  • Establish standardized processes, governance, and knowledge-sharing practices to ensure compliant, consistent, and scalable analytics delivery

Essential Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, analytics, pharmacy, or a related field.   
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, pharmaceutical analytics, or related domains.   
  • Proven track record of building analytics teams and delivering impactful organizational outcomes.   
  • Advanced technical expertise in SQL, Python, R, Dataiku, APLD, and HEOR cohort analytics.
  • Working knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
  • Strong project management, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to align analytics outputs to medical objectives.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration
