Mechanical Project Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Project Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The Mechanical Project Engineer will oversee the planning, design, and execution of mechanical systems for energy and infrastructure projects, coordinating across disciplines to meet technical and schedule requirements. Daily responsibilities include reviewing specifications and drawings, performing design calculations, preparing and updating CAD models, and supporting MEP integration. The role involves managing project timelines, tracking progress, collaborating with contractors and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The engineer will also assist in site inspections, resolving technical issues, and preparing technical documentation, reports, and project status updates.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core Mechanical

Engineering skills, including fundamentals of mechanical systems design.

• Candidates should possess Project Engineering and Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities and deliverables.

• Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design

(CAD) skills for preparing, reviewing, and modifying engineering drawings and models.

Candidates should possess Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) knowledge to support integrated building services and energy systems design.

• Relevant bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

• Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and construction drawings.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Experience with industry codes and standards, and familiarity with site execution and commissioning activities, is beneficial.
