Job Description

Technical Skills

• 10+ years in performance test engineering role which includes microservices and cloud-based technology.
• Preferred experience within superannuation, wealth management or other financial services
• Mastery of Performance Test Tools: 
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and the ability to write code for test automation. Mandatory: Microfocus LoadRunner HTTP Protocol - C coding, JMeter
  • Desirable: Gatling, K6 etc. Database languages: MS SQL, Postgres
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Mandatory: LoadRunner Analysis. Desirable: Microsoft perfmon, Grafana

• Strong understanding and hands-on technology experience with the following:
  • Operating System: Windows Server, Database: SQL Server 2019+, Application Development Platforms: .NET.
  • Cloud-based: Microservices: architecture, principles, and best practices. Kubernetes: Container orchestration and management, including deployment strategies, scaling, and resource management.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate performance testing into the CI/CD process.
• Proficiency with Confluence and JIRA
• Proficiency with version control GIT
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments where rapid iterations and continuous improvement are practiced.

Education and qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or MBA IT
