Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Controlling Consultant with strong functional expertise in S/4HANA Finance and Controlling. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying end to end Controlling solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and embedded financial controls in S/4HANA.The role involves close collaboration with Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales stakeholders, as well as integration with FI, MM, and SD processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1- Understand and translate business requirements related to SAP S/4HANA Controlling into robust solution designs
2- Design and implement end to end Controlling business processes in S/4HANA, including:
o Planning and Budgeting
o Cost Object Controlling (Cost Centers, Internal Orders, WBS)
o Product Costing (Standard & Actual)
o Overhead Cost Controlling
o Intercompany processes
o Inventory / Material Management–related controlling processes
3- Set up and maintain embedded controls within Controlling processes, such as:
o Settlement profiles
o Allocations (assessments, distributions, top down allocations)
o Period end closing activities
4- Ensure seamless integration between CO and other SAP modules, especially:
o FI–MM integration (material ledger, inventory valuation, goods movements)
o FI–SD integration (revenue recognition, margin analysis)
5- Support testing activities (unit, integration, UAT), defect resolution, and data validation
Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of key financial and Controlling business processes in SAP S/4HANA, including:
o Planning
o Cost object controlling
o Product costing
o Overhead accounting
o Intercompany processes
o Inventory and Material Management–related finance processes
Hands on configuration experience in SAP S/4HANA Controlling
Proven experience configuring and supporting embedded controls in S/4HANA CO processes (e.g., settlement rules, allocations, period end close)
Solid experience with FI integration points, especially FI MM and FI SD
Experience working in S/4HANA implementations, conversions, or rollouts
Ability to work independently and engage confidently with business stakeholders
Nice to Have:
Knowledge or hands on experience in Service Accounting (e.g., service cost allocation, internal/external services, service-based postings)
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP CO Management Accounting.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
