Pharmacist

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations, ensure the availability of medicines, and provide safe and accurate dispensing of medications. The candidate should be proactive, organized, and willing to perform multitasking duties, including responsibilities outside the hospital when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and provide appropriate patient counseling on dosage, usage, and potential side effects.
• Monitor, maintain, and organize pharmacy inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Place medicine orders with suppliers and coordinate timely procurement to avoid stock shortages.
• Verify received medicines for quality, quantity, expiry dates, and proper storage.
• Maintain stock records, purchase registers, and inventory reports.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor expiry dates and arrange for timely replacement or disposal of expired products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure efficient patient care.
• Assist in preparing pharmacy-related reports and documentation.
• Perform hospital-related tasks outside the pharmacy, including procurement, supplier visits, deliveries, or any other administrative duties as assigned.
• Support overall hospital operations by taking on additional responsibilities whenever required.
• Qualifications:Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
• Valid Pharmacist Registration Certificate.
• Previous experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy is preferred.
