Job Summary

A Picker and Packer is responsible for selecting (picking) products from warehouse shelves and preparing (packing) them for shipment. The role ensures customer orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and safely while maintaining warehouse organization standards.

Key Responsibilities

Pick products from warehouse inventory according to order sheets or electronic scanners

Verify product codes, quantities, and quality before packing

Pack items securely to prevent damage during transportation

Label packages correctly for shipping

Prepare orders for dispatch

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow safety procedures and company policies

Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods

Assist with stock replenishment and inventory counts when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Previous warehouse or logistics experience (advantageous but not always required)

Ability to lift heavy items (typically 10–25 kg / 20–50 lbs)

Basic math skills for counting and verifying orders

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
