Job Description
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the poultry farm
- Manage and train farm workers to ensure efficient and effective performance
- Monitor and maintain the health and welfare of the poultry
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Create and implement farm protocols and procedures
- Monitor and maintain the farm's equipment and machinery
- Maintain accurate records and reports on farm operations
- Communicate with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders as required
- Ability to manage a team of farm workers, including assigning tasks and overseeing their work.
- Knowledge of poultry health and nutrition, as well as experience with disease prevention and treatment.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with farm workers, suppliers, and customers.
- Familiarity with farm equipment and machinery, including the ability to operate and maintain them.
- Ability to manage the budget for the farm and ensure that all expenses are within the allocated budget.
