Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to handle pharmaceutical procurement operations and vendor management for our healthcare distribution business. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing medicines and healthcare products, managing distributor relationships, negotiating pricing, and ensuring smooth inventory planning and supply chain coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end in-house pharma procurement operations.
• Identify, onboard, and maintain strong relationships with distributors and vendors.
• Procure medicines, surgical items, and healthcare products as per business requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding stock availability, pricing, delivery schedules, and order processing.
• Negotiate commercial terms and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Monitor inventory levels and plan timely procurement to avoid stock shortages.
• Maintain procurement records, purchase reports, and vendor performance data.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical procurement standards and company policies.
• Work closely with warehouse, sales, and operations teams for smooth supply chain management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in pharma procurement or pharmaceutical supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, distributors, and vendor networks.
• Experience in distributor onboarding and vendor management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Good understanding of inventory planning and procurement processes.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors and procurement activities efficiently.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Experience in pharmaceutical distribution or healthcare procurement will be preferred.
• Strong analytical and coordination abilities.
