Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to plan and integrate various components of the application ecosystem, ensuring seamless delivery and maintaining high standards of quality throughout the software development lifecycle. The role includes continuous testing activities focused on security, application programming interfaces, and regression, alongside developing and implementing automation strategies. The position also requires active involvement in reviewing code, monitoring system performance, and reporting any issues to facilitate ongoing enhancements in the testing process. This dynamic environment encourages proactive problem-solving and supports the overall goal of delivering reliable and efficient software solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality standards and testing requirements.
- Assist in configuring test data and environments to support various testing scenarios.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and proposing enhancements in testing processes.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Avaloq Wealth.
- Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages relevant to testing.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Understanding of security testing principles and API testing methodologies.
