Job Description
Job Purpose
To deliver excellent customer service while promoting organic, natural, and sustainable products. The role focuses on store operations, sales support, and creating a positive shopping experience aligned with The Organic World’s values.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection.
Educate customers about organic products, health benefits, sourcing, and usage.
Upsell and cross‑sell relevant products to meet sales targets.
Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
Store Operations
Ensure shelves are well‑stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
Maintain product freshness, FIFO (First In First Out), and expiry control.
Assist with billing, POS operations, cash handling, and digital payments.
Support opening and closing of the store as per SOPs.
Inventory & Merchandising
Receive, check, and store inventory accurately.
Report damaged, expired, or low‑stock items to the Store Manager.
Support in-store promotions, sampling activities, and new product launches.
Hygiene & Compliance
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Follow organic handling standards and store compliance guidelines.
Adhere to company policies and ethical retail practices.
Desired Skills & Competencies
Good communication skills in English and local language
Customer‑centric attitude and pleasant personality
Basic knowledge or interest in organic, healthy, or sustainable products
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Basic computer/POS knowledge preferred
Qualification & Experience
Minimum: 10th / 12th pass (Graduates preferred)
0–3 years of experience in retail, FMCG, food & grocery, or hospitality
Freshers with strong interest in retail are welcome
