Senior Interior Designer

An Interior Designer plans, researches, coordinates, and manages interior design projects to create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces. They work closely with clients to understand their needs and transform spaces according to budget, timeline, and design preferences.

Key Responsibilities

Meet with clients to determine goals, preferences, and project requirements

Develop design concepts, mood boards, and space plans

Create detailed drawings using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit)

Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories

Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets

Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and suppliers

Oversee project progress to ensure design intent is maintained

Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards

Present design proposals and revisions to clients

Required Skills

Strong creativity and artistic sense

Excellent space planning skills

Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)

Knowledge of materials, finishes, and furnishings

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field (preferred)

Portfolio showcasing design projects
