Senior Software Engineer

A Senior level Microsoft .NET SDET to manage both Development and Testing, a critical project for one of our biggest clients in Capital Market/Wealth Management domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications. With minimum 4-6(L4) Years solid Development experience.

Technical Skills:

Must have:

• ASP.NET, MVC5/4/3, Dot net core, C#, LINQ, Entity Framework, DevExpress, Web Technologies HTML, AJAX, XML/JSON.
• Exposure working in Cloud technologies.
• Have strong experience in testing software and solutions.
• 3+ years of progressive automation and performance testing and engineering experience.
• Have experience writing test automation in C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Experience applying extensive technical expertise in automation testing and advanced scripting using Specflow/ Xunit / Selenium frameworks
• 3+ years’ experience in SDET for highly complex projects related to cloud, distributed systems, REST Services, Web Services / Microservices, and/or data processes.
• Web service automation using tools like RestAssured, RestSharp, SoapUI, or Parasoft SOAtest.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL, MongoDB.
• Exposure towards CICD, having exposure towards Atlassian suite would be a plus.
• Good exposure towards TDD & BDD (Spec flow, cucumber etc.) with proficiency in the Gherkin Language
• Understanding application monitoring, log files (ELI logging) would be a plus.
• Have experience working with Splunk, Kibana, AppDynamics, and Dynatrace
• Experience in developing multi-protocol (web, database, terminal emulator/mainframe, etc.) advanced scripts that follow object-oriented framework
• Is proficient in test case design, test execution, and defect management.
• Possess full knowledge of industry standard SDLCs, including Agile methodology
• Intelligent Automation Frameworks: Design and implement scalable, reusable automation frameworks for efficient cross-platform testing.
• AI-Driven Testing Integration: Leverage AI/ML to enhance test generation, predictive analysis, and self-healing automation.
• CI/CD & Pipeline Optimization: Integrate and optimize automated testing within CI/CD pipelines for faster, reliable releases.
• Quality Engineering Workflow Optimization: Improve QA processes through automation, best practices, and shift-left testing approaches.
• Smart Test Strategy & Governance: Define test strategies, establish quality metrics, and enforce governance for consistent standards.

Good to have:

• With Unix/Linux, Windows
• build, deploy and test automation tools like Ant, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, TeamCity, Junit, TestNG or similar tools
• Experience with OOA/OOD, distributed systems/software, real time processing, relational database systems, messaging systems preferred
• Static code scanning tools such as Veracode and BlackDuck
• Working with core business logic within applications
• Knowledge on agile, test-driven development

Certifications Needed: Good to have any cloud experience – Google Cloud Platform /or Azure /or AWS.

Job duties/requirements for the position:

• Performs product design & troubleshooting exercises of extremely high complexity which require extensive research and analysis.     
• System design and specification development, program logic and flow-charting, testing, debugging, and documentation. Will be responsible for making complex design choices to be used by the development teams.  
• Complex programming tasks, providing review of various development tasks and documentation. Provides analysis of problems and recommends solutions.
• A key contributor in client/technology interactions in the development of technology solutions
• Will interface with Enterprise Architecture and Application Security teams on strategic designs and initiatives.
• Troubleshooting of complex problems in development and production environments, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
