Job Description
- 1. Spare Parts Inventory ManagementMaintain optimum stock levels of genuine spare parts.
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving items.
- Avoid stock shortages and overstocking.
- Ensure correct binning and location identification.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- 2. Ordering & ProcurementPrepare and place spare parts orders to the company/depot on time.
- Follow reorder levels and minimum stock norms.
- Track pending orders and emergency requirements.
- Coordinate with the OEM supply chain team.
- 3. Goods Receipt & InspectionVerify incoming spare parts against invoices and dispatch challans.
- Check for shortages, damages, or wrong supplies.
- Update ERP/DMS entries immediately after receipt.
- Ensure proper GRN (Goods Receipt Note) process.
- 4. Issue of Parts to WorkshopSupply parts to technicians/service advisors against job cards.
- Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) practice where applicable.
- Minimize delay in workshop operations.
- Maintain proper issue documentation.
- 5. Counter Sales ManagementAttend retail customers for spare parts inquiries.
- Promote genuine parts sales.
- Ensure proper billing and customer handling.
- Maintain display and visibility of fast-moving items.
- 6. Documentation & System UpdatingMaintain accurate stock records in DMS/ERP.
- Update inward, outward, returns, and adjustments daily.
- Generate MIS reports for management review.
- Maintain warranty and claim-related documentation.
- 7. Warranty & Return HandlingSegregate warranty claim parts properly.
