Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer with strong experience in S/4HANA Public Cloud. The candidate must have hands-on experience in RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) and modern ABAP development practices. This role requires strict adherence to clean core principles and cloud-ready development standards.

 

Mandatory Skills (Non-Negotiable):

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
• Proven expertise in RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• Experience with ABAP for Cloud Development (Steampunk / ABAP Environment)
• Strong knowledge of:
• CDS Views (Core Data Services)
• OData Services (V2/V4)
• Business Object modeling in RAP
• Experience with Fiori Elements and UI annotations
• Understanding of Clean Core principles and extensibility options in Public Cloud
• Experience working with ADT (ABAP Development Tools in Eclipse)
• Good to Have Skills
• Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
• Knowledge of CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
• Experience with Integration (APIs, SAP CPI)
• Basic understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 (custom apps)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines in SAP)
• Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop applications using RAP model in S/4HANA Public Cloud
• Build and enhance CDS views, behaviour definitions, and service bindings
• Ensure compliance with cloud development guidelines and clean core architecture
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance of applications
• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / computer science or related field
• 5+ years of SAP ABAP experience with at least 2+ years in S/4HANA Public Cloud
• RAP project implementation experience is mandatory
