Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Test Engineer specializing in Performance Testing to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, particularly with Selenium and Java, and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our applications. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can analyze requirements, design test cases, and execute performance tests effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute performance test plans and test cases using Selenium with Java.
• Analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks, providing actionable insights for improvement.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and performance requirements.
• Monitor and report on performance testing results, ensuring that all issues are documented and communicated effectively.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and performance considerations.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in performance testing and automation.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in Selenium with Java for automated testing.
• Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with performance testing tools and frameworks.
• Ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics and logs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of application performance monitoring tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance are a plus.
