Staff Nurse

Role Summary

The Nurse Assistant & Receptionist will serve as both the first point of contact for patients at the front desk and a support staff member in clinical care. This dual role requires balancing administrative duties such as scheduling, registration, and billing, with patient care tasks like vitals monitoring, assisting during consultations, and ensuring a safe and clean clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Assistance

· Record vital signs (temperature, pulse, BP, SpO₂) and prepare patients for consultations.

· Assist doctors during examinations, minor procedures, and patient preparation.

· Provide pre- and post-consultation guidance to patients

· Perform basic wound dressing, bandage changes, or assist in minor procedures when required.

· Maintain medical equipment readiness (BP apparatus, thermometers, pulse oximeters, etc.).

· Escort patients (elderly/disabled) within the clinic when needed.

· Support clinic operations, events, or health camps as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

o Certificate/Diploma in Nursing Assistance.

o 1–2 years in a healthcare setup (preferred), either as nurse assistant, receptionist, or both.

o Basic computer skills (MS Office, clinic software, billing tools).

o Knowledge of vital signs recording and basic patient care.

o Excellent communication in English and local languages.

o Compassionate, patient-oriented, professional in appearance and conduct.

o Ability to multitask effectively between clinical and administrative duties.
