Job Description

1. 1. Roles and responsibilities of a Safety Officer under Rule -61(A) of AP Factories    Functional Responsibilities.
   2. Implementation of Safety trainings as per calendar schedule.
   3. Safety Management plan implementation
   4. Safety Equipment maintenance and monitoring
   5. Maintaining Personal Protective Equipment
   6. Incident investigation
   7. Implement and drive PSM guidelines
   8. Drive corporate SHE guidelines
   9. Drive monthly safety campaigns.
   10. Daily walkthrough safety inspections
   11. Organize safety committee meetings and implementation
   12. Governance of compliance watch and ensure compliance towards statutory requirements (Factories, PESO, etc.)
   13. Drive Occupational Health Centre activities
   14. Drive Safety promotional activities
   15. Compliance the Audit requirements and observations
   16. Emergency equipment management
   17. Conducting Mock drills
   18. Maintain the Fire & smoke detection system in active condition
   19. LOTO standards implementation
   20. Conduct the audits for solvent handling systems.
   21. Implementation of Industrial Hygiene at Site.
   22. Governance of Zone owners and Star caps performance
   23. All time Safety and Health documents readiness
   24. Handling internal and external safety audits
   25. Hands on experience on SHEHUB

Qualifications

B.Tech Chemical Engineer or Master in Chemistry and Industrial Safety Diploma from SBTET (State Board of Technical Education)

Additional Information

Should have exposure or working knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM)
B.Tech Chemical Engineer or Master in Chemistry and Industrial Safety Diploma from SBTET (State Board of Technical Education)
Experience of minimum 5 years 
Should have knowledge on ISO 14001 and 45001
