Job Description
A telecaller drives sales or generates leads by initiating outbound calls to prospects and handling inbound queries, acting as the primary voice of a company. Responsibilities include explaining products, building client relationships, updating CRM databases, meeting daily targets, and resolving customer queries. Key skills include persuasive communication, patience, and active listening.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Calls: Contact potential/existing customers to promote products, services, or set up appointments.
Lead Generation/Sales: Convert prospects into customers by highlighting product benefits.
Customer Support: Handle inbound calls, answer inquiries, and resolve issues professionally.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records of conversations, call results, and customer data in CRM software.
Achieving Targets: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, or monthly calling and sales quotas.
Following Up: Re-engage with leads to move them through the sales funnel.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Communication: Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and negotiation skills.
Experience: Previous experience in telesales, telecalling, or customer service is preferred.
Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office.
Attributes: Resilient personality to handle rejections, high energy, and persuasive speaking ability.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
