Key Responsibilities
- Fleet Management: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and fuel efficiency of all company vehicles to minimize downtime.
- Logistics Planning: Optimize routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries while reducing transportation costs.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all drivers and vehicles strictly adhere to transport regulations, safety protocols, and licensing requirements.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and negotiate freight rates.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor delivery timelines and driver performance, implementing improvements where needed.
