VCB Service Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated VCB Service Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCBs) and related electrical equipment. The candidate will be responsible for field service activities, preventive maintenance, testing, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCBs).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of switchgear systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in VCB panels.
• Conduct inspections and prepare service reports.
• Coordinate with customers and provide technical support on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Maintain service records and documentation.
• Travel to customer locations for service and maintenance activities as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or B.Tech/B.E in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in VCB, switchgear, or electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical panels, protection relays, and switchgear systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for field service assignments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with HT/LT Panels.
• Knowledge of transformer and substation maintenance.
• Familiarity with testing equipment such as insulation testers and relay testing kits.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
