Job Description
- Ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive products by warehouse partner.
- Supervise loading and unloading operations by warehouse partner
- Monitor pallet utilization and storage optimization.
- Ensure all operational SOPs are followed by warehouse partner
- Plan daily vehicle requirements based on dispatch schedules.
- Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement.
- Allocate vehicles based on shipment size and delivery timelines.
- Monitor vehicle reporting, loading, dispatch, temperature maintenance and arrival.
- Track shipments until final delivery.
- Handle emergency vehicle arrangements whenever required.
- Ensure transport documentation is complete before dispatch.
- Optimize freight utilization and reduce transportation costs.
- Maintain transporter records and trip sheets.
- Record vehicle turnaround time.
- Maintain dispatch MIS reports.
- Ensure PODs are collected and filed.
- Coordinate with customers regarding dispatch schedules.
- Share shipment updates and delivery status.
- Resolve dispatch-related issues promptly.
- Ensure customer SLAs are achieved.
- Ensure timely payments from customers
