Job Description
As a Welder cum Fitter, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing welding and fitting works as per drawings and site requirements
- Fabricating, assembling, and installing structural and engineering components
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, measurements, and layouts
- Carrying out cutting, grinding, drilling, and finishing activities
- Ensuring proper alignment, fitting accuracy, and weld quality standards
- Handling fabrication tools, welding machines, and related equipment safely
- Conducting repair, maintenance, and modification works when required
- Coordinating with supervisors and site teams for smooth execution of work
- Following safety procedures and maintaining workplace discipline
- Ensuring timely completion of assigned fabrication and installation activities
