Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Mess Manager who can independently handle and manage all mess operations from end to end. The candidate should have strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure smooth functioning of daily activities, maintain food quality, manage staff, and control inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the mess.
* Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness.
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, helpers, and other mess employees.
* Handle inventory management, including stock monitoring and procurement.
* Maintain records of food supplies, consumption, and expenses.
* Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Monitor staff attendance, scheduling, and performance.
* Address customer feedback and resolve operational issues promptly.
* Optimize costs while maintaining service quality.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mess Manager or in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of inventory management and food operations.
* Excellent leadership and team-management skills.
* Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to handle end-to-end mess operations independently.
* Basic computer and record-keeping skills.
