Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee general accounting operations, ledgers, and financial records.
• Prepare, review, and process client invoices, running bills, and final project bills.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability analysis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
• Handle GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Process payroll, employee reimbursements, and related deductions.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients regarding payments and account settlements.
• Assist in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Generate financial reports for management decision-making.
• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff and review their work.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders, and project-related financial transactions.
• Ensure timely closing of accounts and preparation of MIS reports.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with GST, TDS, taxation, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
