Position SummaryThe Stock Market Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team of dealers, advisors, and market executives to ensure efficient trading operations, client servicing, business growth, and adherence to compliance standards.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of stock market operations, excellent team handling abilities, leadership skills, and the capability to achieve business objectives in a dynamic market environment.
- Key Responsibilities1. Team Management & LeadershipLead, supervise, and motivate a team of stock market professionals.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor team performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide guidance for improvement.
- Train team members on market processes, products, and operational procedures.
- Create a result-oriented and disciplined work environment.
- 2. Trading & Market OperationsMonitor daily stock market activities and team performance.
- Support dealers and executives in smooth execution of trading operations.
- Ensure timely processing of client requirements and market activities.
- Coordinate with Floor Manager and Operations Team for efficient workflow.
- 3. Client Relationship ManagementGuide the team in maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ensure timely communication with clients regarding market updates and services.
- Handle escalated client queries and operational concerns.
- Improve client satisfaction and retention.
- 4. Business Development & Target AchievementDrive team performance towards assigned business goals.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Identify opportunities for business growth.
- Support client acquisition and revenue generation activities.
- 5. Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure team follows company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain proper documentation and operational discipline.
- Identify and report operational risks.
- Coordinate with compliance teams whenever required.
- 6. Reporting & Performance MonitoringPrepare team performance reports and MIS.
- Analyze productivity and suggest improvement strategies.
- Share regular updates with senior management.
- Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA Finance preferred.
- NISM Certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of Indian Stock Market and Capital Markets.
- Required Experience3–7 years of experience in:
- Stock Broking
- Investment Advisory
- Equity Market Operations
- Trading Desk Management
- Prior experience in team handling or supervisory role preferred.
