Job Description – Jio Service Engineer (Installation & New Booking – ORN)

The Jio Service Engineer is responsible for handling new customer bookings (ORN) and installing JioFiber broadband services at customer locations. The role includes installing and configuring ONT/router, Wi-Fi devices, and Set-Top Boxes (STB), ensuring all services are activated and functioning properly. The engineer performs basic fiber cable installation, testing, troubleshooting, and resolves installation-related issues to provide a seamless customer experience.

The engineer must update job status through the Jio field service application, maintain installation records, and ensure all work is completed according to company quality and safety standards. They are also responsible for explaining service features, Wi-Fi setup, and basic usage to customers while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have basic knowledge of networking, fiber optic technology, routers, and broadband installation. Good communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills are essential. A Diploma, ITI, or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Freshers with technical knowledge are also eligible.

The position is field-based and requires traveling to customer locations, managing daily installation targets, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring timely completion of assigned ORN bookings with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
