Admission Counsellor

The Role

You will manage the entire student pipeline from seminar registration to university enrollment, working alongside our AI platform. You will work across both tracks: undergrad students from partner schools and Masters students from partner colleges. The AI handles research and first drafts. You handle parent conversations, complex decisions, document coordination, and the trust that makes a family confident enough to send their child abroad.

What You Will Do

• Process student registrations from seminars: welcome call/WhatsApp, AI-assisted profile assessment, pathway recommendation
• For undergrad track: guide students on IELTS/TOEFL/SAT prep, university shortlisting (AI-generated, you refine), SOP review (AI-drafted, you polish), application submission, visa documentation
• For Masters track: guide students on GRE/GMAT prep, research university fit using AI matching, coordinate SOPs and LORs, manage applications
• Review and refine AI-generated university shortlists, SOPs, and scholarship recommendations before sharing with students
• Flag cases where AI recommendations need human override (complex profiles, edge cases, scholarship strategy)
• Maintain student pipeline in CRM with AI-assisted follow-up reminders and status tracking
• Conduct parent counseling calls in Hindi and English: explain costs, loan options, scholarships, destination comparisons, ROI
• Provide regular progress reports to partner institutions showing pipeline metrics
• Coordinate with education loan partners for pre-approved estimates and scholarship applications for every student
• Provide feedback on AI performance: where it works well vs where human intervention is needed (this shapes the product)

What We Need

• 1-3 years in study abroad counseling, education consulting, or international student recruitment
• Understands the full application lifecycle: test prep to shortlisting to SOP to application to visa to enrollment
• Experience with at least 2 destination countries (US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, or others)
• Strong written English: can review, refine, and improve AI-generated SOPs and application essays
• Fluent Hindi for parent communication
• Comfortable working with AI tools daily and providing constructive feedback on AI outputs
• Patient and empathetic: tier 2-3 parents have many questions about sending children abroad
• Organized: can manage a large volume of active student files simultaneously without errors

Bonus Points

• Experience counseling for Masters/postgrad (not just undergrad)
• Experience with affordable destinations: Germany (free tuition), France, Eastern Europe, Malaysia
• Knowledge of education loan products and scholarship databases
• Experience working in tier 2-3 cities (understands parent psychology and affordability constraints)
• Already uses AI tools in your counseling workflow
