Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the development process and serving as the main liaison for project-related communications. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications meet the required specifications and function seamlessly within the intended environment. The engineer actively oversees the progress of the project, addresses challenges as they arise, and ensures that the final deliverables align with the overall objectives and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of development activities to meet project timelines and quality expectations.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP programming concepts and experience in developing custom reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SAP HANA applications.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting complex SAP ABAP code in a HANA environment.
- Understanding of integration techniques between SAP modules and external systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
