Delivery Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive the assigned 3-wheeler or 4-wheeler vehicle as per company guidelines and traffic rules.
• Deliver pharmaceutical products to designated locations within the scheduled time.
• Verify invoices, delivery challans, and shipment quantities before dispatch and at the time of delivery.
• Collect delivery acknowledgements (POD), signatures, and required documents from customers.
• Ensure proper handling of medicines to prevent damage during transportation.
• Follow company SOPs for loading, unloading, and transportation of pharmaceutical products.
• Report any delivery delays, vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or customer issues immediately to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and regular upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel, engine oil, tyres, brakes, lights, etc.) before starting duty.
• Maintain trip sheets, fuel records, kilometre readings, and delivery logs.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods whenever required.
• Return undelivered products, damaged goods, or customer returns with proper documentation.
• Follow all safety, quality, and company compliance guidelines.
• Maintain professional behaviour while interacting with customers.
