Junior Support Engineer

Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with 2-3 years of expertise in AWS Cloud to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Terraform, EKS, and related tools and technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of DevOps principles, cloud-native application development, and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS cloud infrastructures.
• Monitor and optimize AWS cloud services to ensure performance and reliability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps to support automated testing, integration, and deployment.
• Ensure smooth delivery of applications across multiple environments (development, testing, staging, and production).
• Develop and manage IaC templates using Terraform for consistent and repeatable infrastructure deployments.
• Collaborate with teams to define infrastructure requirements and automate provisioning.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor EKS and other container-based applications.
• Implement best practices for container orchestration, scaling, and security.
• Implement monitoring tools to track application performance, availability, and security.
• Analyze system metrics and logs to troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively.
• Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members

 

 

Skills & Experience

 

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including Pipelines, Repos, and Artifacts.
• Strong experience with Terraform for IaC.
• Practical knowledge of EKS and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWAtch, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with other DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of database services (e.g., RDS, Cosmos DB, Postgres).
• Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps).
• Understanding of agile development methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
