Job Title: Play School Teacher / Preschool Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative, patient, and energetic Play School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will nurture, educate, and care for young children (ages 2-5), utilizing play-based learning to teach fundamental skills while ensuring a safe, hygienic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Implementation: Design and follow a play-based curriculum focusing on early childhood development needs, including social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Engaging Activities: Facilitate learning through interactive methods, such as storytelling, arts and crafts, music, indoor/outdoor play, and educational games.
  • Child Development: Teach foundational concepts like colors, shapes, numbers, and letters.
  • Care & Safety: Monitor children closely to ensure safety, manage hygiene routines, and assist with meals/naps.
  • Behavioral Support: Promote social-emotional growth by helping children manage emotions, learn good manners, and resolve peer conflicts.
  • Observation & Reporting: Evaluate individual child performance, track developmental milestones, and provide regular updates to parents. Indeed +6

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or relevant field preferred; Montessori or NTT (Nursery Teacher Training) certification is highly valued.
  • Experience: 3 -6 month proven experience as a preschool teacher, daycare teacher, or similar role.
  • Patience & Passion: Deep love for working with young children and the ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills for engaging with children and collaborating with parents.
  • Creativity: Strong artistic or engaging skills to create a stimulating classroom atmosphere.
