Procurement Manager (Agri Products)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage the complete procurement cycle of agricultural products, from purchase planning to dispatch coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong vendor management, negotiation, inventory coordination, and supply chain management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete procurement process for fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and other agri-products.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth receipt, inventory management, and dispatch of materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and plan replenishment to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
• Ensure timely dispatch of products as per customer and sales team requirements.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor documentation, and purchase reports.
• Work closely with Sales, Accounts, and Operations teams for seamless order execution.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-8 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain, preferably in the fertilizer, pesticide, seed, or agri-input industry.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and dispatch operations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
