Captain / Waiter

Job Summary:

We are looking for a courteous, energetic, and customer-focused Captain/Waiter to provide excellent dining service and ensure a pleasant guest experience. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests and guide them to their tables.
• Present menus and explain food and beverage items.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Ensure tables are clean, organized, and properly set.
• Check on guests during their meal and respond to requests promptly.
• Handle customer concerns politely and escalate issues when necessary.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for smooth operations.
• Prepare bills and assist with payment processing when required.
• Follow hygiene, food safety, and restaurant service standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: 10th/12th pass (Hotel Management certificate is an advantage).
• 1–3 years of experience as a Waiter, Steward, or Captain (freshers with a positive attitude may also apply).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with a professional appearance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player with a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of food service and restaurant etiquette.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of POS billing systems.
• Ability to upsell menu items.
• Basic English communication.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
