Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a driven sales professional to grow our interactive flat panel (IFP) and IT hardware business across Indore and surrounding Madhya Pradesh districts. The role focuses on selling to schools, colleges, coaching institutes, corporates, and government/institutional buyers. You will manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation and product demonstrations to closing and after-sales coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads and build a pipeline of schools, colleges, coaching centres, offices, and government/institutional clients across Indore and nearby districts.
- Conduct product demonstrations of interactive panels, smart classroom solutions, and IT hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, networking, peripherals) at client sites.
- Understand client requirements and recommend the right product configuration and pricing.
- Prepare and present quotations, negotiate terms, and close deals to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with channel partners, dealers, system integrators, and consultants.
- Coordinate with the installation and support team to ensure smooth delivery, setup, and after-sales service.
- Stay updated on product features, competitor offerings, and market pricing.
- Support participation in tenders and institutional procurement (GeM, e-tenders) where required.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and sales in CRM/reports.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of sales experience, preferably in IT hardware, EdTech, AV equipment, or interactive panels (freshers with strong communication and hunger to sell may be considered for the executive level).
- Good understanding of the Indore/MP institutional and education market is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in Hindi and English.
- Confident in field sales, cold calling, and client meetings.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence (field role requiring local travel).
- Basic computer proficiency (email, Excel, quotation preparation).
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working with incentives.
Compensation
- Fixed salary (based on experience) + attractive sales incentives/commission on targets.
- Travel allowance / fuel reimbursement for field visits.
