Job Purpose:
The role oversee IT asset management and systems operations to ensure business continuity, data integrity, and optimal service delivery. Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and IT maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with quality standards and enhancing operational efficiency.
IT System Management and Budgeting:
• Assist in formulating the IT budget to align with strategic goals and procure necessary IT assets.
• Ensure adherence to annual maintenance schedules for all IT equipment and infrastructure.
• Liaise with vendors to manage maintenance plans and resolve critical hardware/software faults.
• Monitor vendor service levels and ensure compliance with SIPL's quality and service standards.
Systems Management and Support:
• Develop and deploy systems for efficient Toll Collection Management System and ATMS.
• Maintain and regularly update servers to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
• Perform data recovery procedures in case of data loss and maintain strict controls over server passwords.
• Resolve IT-related user queries promptly and coordinate with network technicians for network issue resolution.
• Ensure comprehensive technical and user documentation for all IT systems and update as necessary.
Operations and Maintenance:
• Set up and oversee environmental control and power safety systems in server rooms to ensure equipment safety.
• Ensure 100% availability of all FASTAG lanes for smooth Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) transactions.
• Provide support for reconciliation and address system-related issues with acquirer banks promptly.
• Directly manage service level agreements with IT service providers and enforce compliance with agreed service levels.
• Facilitate quick resolution of IT service requests and escalate complex issues as necessary to meet specified timelines.
